We lost power during the recent wind/rain storm; our neighbors' power was all on, but we only had one light working. We had no lights, no water, and no heat for almost 3 days. PGE came back out and determined that wires were disconnected on our service mast; because of the risk of fire, they shut everything off and said we'd need a licensed electrician to restore power.

I called Christenson, and the friendly person who answered put in contact with Jeremy McKinney, who called me back promptly and was out here within two hours. We knew we'd have to pay emergency rates because he had to postpone another scheduled job he was going to (that person had a generator so was okay for the time being), but we were very grateful that he could get out that same day.

Jeremy worked quickly and efficiently, and was finished in about 3 hours. He provided photos of the before/after repairs, and told us we'd need to call a roofing company to repair the roof (when we had our roof replaced years ago the mast hadn't been installed properly. If it hadn't been for Jeremy, we would still not be aware of that issue.) He called PGE (they had to approve the work before they'd turn on our power) and left the necessary paperwork for them. They came out much earlier than expected and turned on our power. What a relief!

From my first contact with Jeremy, he was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and very professional and efficient. We were so grateful that he came out quickly and worked so hard to get us up and running again. We thought that the charges were fair and not unreasonable.
